Magnolia
Inspired by 18th-century Venetian folk art, Magnolia revives the sponge-printing technique spugnatura to create vibrant, expressive ceramics: each piece rich with color, texture, and character.
The Venetian “coste” plates appear in the mid-18th century and can be recognised by their elegantly molded surfaces with raised ribs. They reflect the refined cosmopolitan taste of Venice, blending Oriental inspiration with Baroque exuberance in it's ceramic art.
